Looking for a fun way to end the semester with a bang? On Saturday, May 19, support Sigma Sigma Sigma on their two mile fun run/walk as they are raising money for March of Dimes.

The non-profit organization supports the health of mothers and their babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.

This is the sorority’s first time hosting a color run. The event is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. for registration/check-in and 10 a.m. to begin the race. Registration fees are 25 dollars for seventh graders and up, 15 dollars for those in kindergarten through sixth grade, and free for  those who are younger.

There will be food, a runners bag, and a shirt at the finish for those who register before May 15. To register for the event, visit . The run will be held in Davison at Lake Callis.

Philanthropy Chair for Sigma Sigma Sigma, Ciara Robinson, cannot wait for the event.

“I’m extremely excited because it’s something outside of the box and a way to bring our sisterhood closer together through community service,” said Robinson. “I’m a very creative person, so I wanted to bring the creativity to my chapter, and holding philanthropy chair was the perfect opportunity.”
