Flint, Michigan – Two people connected to a fatal shooting that happened at a BP gas station on Flint’s north side have been arrested by local police. One man died and another was left injured in the Monday night shooting incident.
According to the Michigan State Police, the suspects wanted for the incident were caught on Tuesday during a traffic stop. Police official said that the suspects, whose identities are yet unknown until their court arraignment, engaged in a violent altercation inside the convenience store located at the junction of Clio Road and Myrtle Avenue that resulted in fatal outcomes.
Police reports state that the confrontation started with a verbal argument between the victims and the perpetrators at about 9:30 p.m. The matter quickly turned to physical violence, ending in shooting. After the incident, responders rushed two men—ages 24 and 18—to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment.
Unfortunately, the 24-year-old succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The younger victim was reportedly in good condition.
