Flint, Michigan – On January 17, 2024, Flint’s new Service Center opened its doors to everyone. It’s open from Wednesday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Located at 4805 Clio Rd., this center makes it easier for people to get city services, offering both drive-thru and walk-in options.
Ribbon cutting ceremony to take place on January 24
The Mayor of Flint, Sheldon Neeley, along with local groups, will cut the ribbon to officially open the center on January 24 at 9 a.m. This event is for everyone, and the people of Flint are invited to check out the new spot.

This new center isn’t just for city services; it also has space for community organizations to help out the locals. For example, on January 25, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Genesee County Health Department will be there to give out free COVID-19 and Flu shots.
“This new service center is a crucial step in enhancing community access to essential services, directly addressing challenges faced by many of our residents, especially seniors and those with disabilities,” Mayor Neeley said.

“This center is not just about providing services; it’s about making those services more accessible and responsive to the needs of every resident. Flint’s new service center to offer walk-in and drive-thru options for convenience
The new satellite service center offers both a walk-in area and a drive-thru for easy access. People can choose to stay in their cars to pay bills and more, using a tube system that’s both quick and safe.

At the center, you’ll find customer service staff, health advisors, and police. They’re there to listen to any worries, take crime reports, and offer help and information about health matters. A lot of people in Genesee County lose their lives to overdoses every year. To help with this, the center gives out free Narcan and fentanyl test strips. This is part of Flint’s fight against the opioid problem and to help those struggling with addiction.
