Genesee County, Michigan – Aiming to bring new concepts and dedicated citizen involvement into numerous key positions within local governance bodies, the Genesee County Board of Commissioners is seeking candidates. Currently, the board is looking to fill one seat on the Genesee County Road Commission, which carries a six-year term. Candidates hoping to get these positions have to satisfy numerous criteria. Candidates must be Genesee County residents for at least one year, citizens of the United States, registered voters. The board will not take into account those who have been found guilty of offenses connected to deceit, fraud, or dishonesty or those who are delinquent on penalties, taxes due to Genesee County.
